Hello friends, I hope that you enjoyed our discussion of the Rising Signs. Knowing what your rising sign is, or your ascendant sign, or your partners can be very helpful in understanding your own astrological profile, or your partner’s. But there is a little bit of a caution to this and this is what I am going to talk about today. Click to continue »
We’ve been discussing some of the transit periods on this blog, and today we will turn our attention to another transit period, the Neptune Return. So many people wonder why they might have a transit period guide from one astrologer or another that looks similar to another transit period guide, or information on a transit period. The reason for this is because we are often all in the same transit periods as each other, as our transit period guides will show us where the planets are at a certain time in our life. Well, the planets are in the same place for everyone today, and so they will be as well in your transit period guides. When a planet completes a transit, or starts a new one, it is called a transit period, and there are other minor transits that may happen with your individual chart. Some planets take longer to complete a full orbit, others not that long. Neptune takes 165 years to complete a full orbit, so you won’t see a full Neptune transit in your life time. But knowing what is happening when it completes an orbit, as it did in 2010, can be very helpful. You can get information on what Neptune is up to in its transits on my daily astrological forecast on Tumblr if this topic is of interest to you. Click to continue »
If you have been receiving astrological reports or transit period guides through myself or Premium Astrology, then you have heard some terms that may not mean much to you when reading them. Our customer support team is available 24/7 and I assure you they are nothing less than exceptional when it comes to answering these questions. But, in the meantime, let me help you clarify some of these questions. There are terms in astrology that determine the location of the planets, and what they are doing at the time, and how they are relating to each other. Just like terms you use when relating with other people. When you “square off” with someone, it’s not often a good feeling. When your life is parallel with someone, it can seem kind of neat. The planets are no different. Today we are going to cover some of these terms, and we will manage the not so nice ones first, just to rip that bandaid off. Now, whenever you read my daily astrology forecast on Tumblr, you will know what I mean when I say a planet is in conjunction with another, is opposite another, or is square to another. We’ve been discussing transit periods on this blog, and they are important to consider in your natal chart or solar return chart, as they assist us in forecasting trends or future events in someone’s life. As the name implies, an astrological transit involves the interpretation of how the planets move, or transit through the zodiac on an individual’s chart. The sign, the houses, and the aspects (angles) the planets make are all significant elements to consider when interpreting someone’s transit period. One of the most significant transit periods in a person’s chart occurs during the period known as the planetary return. A solar return occurs every year when the sun returns to someone’s zodiac sign, on their birthday. When a planet has completed an entire circuit, this signifies a new life cycle for the individual. Each planet has their own timeline. The sun returns once a year, Saturn returns every 30 years, Jupiter every 12, and Uranus, every 84 years. Today we will discuss this significant transit period known as the Uranus Return. Click to continue »

When it comes to the planets, knowing what it means where they fall in our charts is especially useful. But most of the time when we see this information we are only given the information for our zodiac for the time and date that we were born. As useful as this is, the reality is that the planets are moving ALL the time, and so knowing where they are on a particular day or month or year is also very helpful as we go through life. So, it is especially important not just to have your natal charts done, but your solar return charts as well. And in some planetary cases, the planet events affect everyone at the same time. You can find out more information on this on a day to day basis through my daily astrological forecast, but today, we are going to cover a transit period that we are currently in that is affecting everybody equally. This transit period is the period where Saturn transits Scorpio. Saturn takes 28 to 29 years to make its full transit, and spends approximately 2.5 years in every sign. This means the effects of Saturn in a certain sign can be felt for 2.5 years. Where Saturn was on your birth chart may not be relevant to where Saturn is today for you. So let’s talk about this current transit period for Saturn today. Click to continue »
With so much talk about being extra careful during your transit periods, it may help to go into further depth on what a transit period actually is. There is a common misconception that a transit period may only occur once in your lifetime, if at all, and that it generally involves something big or tremendous in terms of influence on your life. This is not the case. A transit period is exactly what it sounds like, but in terms of astrology and the planets, refers to the movement of the planets, what movements they are making, and what directions they are going. So, if you have ever heard someone say, “What, is it just my imagination or does it feel like Mercury is in retrograde or something!” , then this person is referring to the discomfort that can be felt at the day to day level when a certain planet is…you got it, in transit.
Depending on what the planet is, and what kind of transit it is working on, will determine its effect in your daily life. But to say it will only happen once in your life is preposterous. In fact, we know the planets are always moving, at all times. When they make shifts to their movements is what we refer to as a transit period. When planet is in retrograde for example, we are saying that it is moving backwards.
When a planet is moving through a particular zodiac sign as well, this is also known as a transit period. You may for example see in your horoscope something like, “Your Moon is in Pisces today, and that may mean a period of creativity for you, but be careful of some moodiness.” This simply means the transit period of the Moon through Pisces, which can manifest in one’s daily life in creative ways but with a moody undertone.
Because every person’s planetary alignment is different, and every person’s energy patterns are different, transit periods can be different for everybody. Where it gets confusing and disturbing sometimes lies in the fact that when the planets are moving they are effecting everybody. For example, when Mercury is in retrograde, or moving backwards, more people will feel it than not. The tricky part then is figuring out your own personal transit periods in alignment with the ones everybody else is experiencing.
Now you can experience a little more clarity on why relationships and life can be so darn complicated sometimes! For more clarity on how to better understand your own transit periods in order to gain more control over your own destiny, consider some further work with my Transit Period Guide.
